Montana Woman Proves Guns Work Better Than Restraining Orders

A Billings woman called authorities to report an intruder at her home. Her ex-boyfriend came to the front of the house and attempted to enter through the front door. Unable to break-in, he went around to the backyard and proceeded to kick in the door. The woman had already grabbed her gun and pointed it at her ex when he came in. The suspect fled and was later arrested by authorities.

The woman says she’s had a restraining order since December that prohibits the man from making contact with her–as he has been prone to violence in the past. Restraining orders is often a good action to take, but having a firearm for protection is always a reliable backup.
