At 3 a.m. Sunday morning, 60-year-old Enrique Herrera was returning to his Texas City home when he was met by two armed robbers in his driveway. Luckily, Herrera was armed and shot at both, killing one. The men followed Herrera into his driveway with the intention of robbing him, but when they commanded him to “give it up”, Herrera pulled out his gun. He hit one of the men in the chest, who shot at Herrara and hit him in the upper thigh. The second man ran off, but was found and arrested a few minutes later.
