On Sunday, the “Open Carry Pennsylvania” rally garnered a lot of attention when protesters arrived with their firearms. In Erie county, it is illegal to carry a gun at a city park where this rally was held. They went so far as to take down the license plate numbers of the attendees and cross reference the owners using facial recognition so they can mail citations to the people that they missed. The rally organizers tried to get an injunction against the county law, but they failed. Read more about the story here.
