Pretty awesome stuff from the MLB slugger. If you’re not an avid follower of National’s baseball you may recognize LaRoche from his show Buck Commander, which he founded and now co-owns on the Outdoor Network channel. Here’s a shot of LaRoche from his Buck Commander website:

During an interview with Hunting Illustrated, LaRoche described his “dream hunt.”

“My dream hunt is grizzly bear with my bow and hopefully to have my son at my side as we stalk the ultimate predator.”

It’s really great to see athletes and celebrities standing up for what they believe in, even if it might draw some unfair criticism. Kudos to LaRoche for teaching his son about firearm safety and showing America why we love our right to bear arms.
