A Philadelphia man and his girlfriend were awakened by a noise to find an intruder standing in the doorway of their bedroom. The man immediately grabbed his gun from the nightstand and pulled the trigger three times, but the gun didn’t go off. The resident threw his girlfriend to the ground and heard the intruder yell to his accomplice, “He’s got a gun”.

The two suspects ran from the apartment, leaving an ax and empty duffel bag in their haste. Police are continuing to investigate what could have been an unfortunate situation. As for the intruder in the doorway, “He was real lucky,” the resident said.
