Iraq War Vet Uses AR-15 to Stop Gas Station Robbery

Two suspects attempted to break-in to a gas station but didn’t realize the owner was still working there. Shawn Schank, an Iraq War veteran–heard the two come into the store and ran to the front, kicking one of the intruder onto the floor. The veteran then went to grab his AR-15 from his office and ordered the two to leave his store.

One of the robbers peeled of his mask and pleaded for Schank not to shoot. The two then fled from the gas station and Schank called the authorities. Police quickly apprehended the suspect that had taken off his mask, who Schank had recognized. Both robbers were eventually arrested and will be charged with breaking and entering.
