A Texas homeowner woke up to sounds of three men kicking in his front door. The robbers briefly assaulted the man before shoving him into a closet. Fortunately for the homeowner, the suspects had pushed him into his gun closet. The homeowner waited for a few minutes while the suspects went through his things. Then, he emerged firing multiple shots at the invaders.

One of the suspects returned fire and then proceeded to flee. Two burglars drove away but the third, collapsed on a nearby street due to gunshot wounds. Police apprehended the suspect and he is currently in stable condition at a local hospital. The homeowner will not be charged and acted in self defense.
