A man’s home is his castle, and so it has been in our culture for hundreds of years. Criminals that break into homes break a sacred cultural covenant, and earn each and every bullet they collect.

This dead young thug, is no different.

A Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed to Channel 3 that a teenager was the suspect that died Monday after he and another boy attempted to rob a 69-year-old at his residence.

Catoosa County Sheriff Gary Sisk tells Channel 3 on Monday afternoon around 4 the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 2500 Block of Post Oak Road in Ringgold, in reference to a burglary where the homeowner said that he had shot an intruder.

When the officers arrived on scene the 911 center received calls from the suspects requesting medical assistance in the 5100 block of Boynton Drive.

Officers found three suspects a 16-year old male, an18-year-old female identified as Ansley Chrnalogar, and a 17-year-old male who had a gunshot wound to his neck.

Emergency Services personnel transported the 17-year-old suspect to a local hospital where he later died from his injury.
