$2,000 fine, no jail time for C. J. Grisham in AR-15 open carry case

Master Sergeant Christopher “C.J.” Grisham has been sentenced to pay a $2,000 fine and will receive no jail time for the offense.

The jury in the gun rights trial of Fort Hood Msg. Christopher Grisham has found him guilty of his misdemeanor charge.

After just two hours of deliberating, the jury ultimately found Grisham guilty of interfering with police duties when he refused to turn over his AR-15 rifle to Temple police officer Steve Ermis this past March.
