Building an AK with Rifle Dynamics

When it comes to building high-end Kalashnikov-pattern rifles, Rifle Dynamics out of Las Vegas is one of the best companies in the business. Their custom 500 series (5.45×39, AK-74-based), and 700 series (7.62×39, AKM-based) rifles are some of the most beautiful-looking and functional rifles in the business, and are consequently in very high demand (8+ month lead times), as are their Kalashnikov-based short-barreled rifles and shotguns.

In addition to just building rifles, however, Rifle Dynamic goes beyond just building rifles to providing training, armorer’s courses, and what I consider one of the most interesting opportunities for AK shooters in existence, a three-day “Build Your Own AK” course that is traveling the nation.

Guess where I’m going?

Imagine having the opportunity to create and bond with your very own rifle made from scratch, while increasing your knowledge of the AK platform! If interested, take a look at the Build Classes we offer. This is one for the bucket list!

We feel there have been far too many substandard AK’s built in the US. Rifle Dynamics is about building QUALITY, DURABLE rifles! We will provide all the parts, tools and information to build your own stellar AK. You will then test fire and zero your rifle on day three of the class. When complete, you will leave the class with the AK, BUILT BY YOU, under our supervision.

Does it get much cooler than that?

I’m attending the Jacksonville, NC course, but there are a total of five build courses still open, and one might be near you.

I think it’s going to be a real treat to learn from AK gurus like Jim Fuller and Billy Cho.

Here’s Jim talking about the AK builder’s class with James Yeager (Part 2 is here).

If you have a chance to attend it looks like a great opportunity to learn from masters.

[Note: These build rifles are serial-numbered, and a completed 4473 is required to obtain ownership. This is not a “build party.”]
