Rumor Control: No, Stag Arms Is Not Closing

There was a bit of a mild panic that started this morning on some gun forums when the phone numbers and website for Stag Arms suddenly went down. Some quickly opined that the AR-15 company was shutting down. This is not true.

The Stag Arms website soon came up again, and says that were unable to take internet or phone orders due to “technical issues.”

They hope to back in normal operation by Monday.

UPDATE: According to the Stag Arms Facebook page, they have shut down for a “routine ATF compliance audit.”
