Lawton, Okla._If you don’t have your conceal and carry license but are planning on getting one there’s a new state law you will want to know about.

Graduates of the state’s concealed and carry classes now have to apply for a license within three years of earning their certificate. Although officials say the rule has been one of the OSBI’s for some time, the state of Oklahoma is now enforcing it as law.

“There has been a lot of speculation and misconception about the law change. Really the only thing that changes is that the certificate is only good for 3 years,” said Brad Caudill
