veterans day

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, the guns fell silent. World War I was over.

One year later, President Woodrow Wilson declared Armistice Day, which over time has evolved into Veterans Day, solemnly celebrating all of those who have chosen to serve in this nation’s military.

Please take today to remember the soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines, guardsmen, and reserves in your lives. They have offered everything that they have to protect us.

Please feel free to thank the veterans in your life in the comments.
