The Delaware County  Daily Times reports:

PARKSIDE >> A couple was awakened in their bedroom early Monday by a trio of thieves, one armed with a handgun, who entered their Edgmont Avenue apartment, attacked them and demanded money, police said.

The ordeal for the couple, who police described as being in their 30s, lasted about 10 minutes, according to Chief John M. Egan. The boyfriend sustained lacerations to his cheek when one of the intruders threw a laptop computer at his face, while his girlfriend suffered injuries to her mouth and ear when she was hit with a bottle of Lysol cleaner, the police report states.

The couple refused treatment by paramedics at the scene.
