CRUSHING: Moms Demand Suffers Another Humiliating Defeat in Tennessee

Do you remember the comically tiny group of Moms Demand Action protesters that Shannon R. Watts brought to oppose the National Rifle Association’s Annual Meeting in Nashville earlier this month? Watts claimed 400 attendees congregated at her rally, but as the photo I took (above) from the nearby pedestrian bridge clearly shows, the bullying moms brought just 150 attendees in their sad showing.

One of the key goals of the protest—brought up by every speaker in attendance that we heard—was to defeat a bill in the Tennessee legislature that would allow law-abiding citizens to carry concealed in parks.

Tennessee governor Bill Haslam signed that bill into law yesterday.
