Michigan police confirm that multiple people are dead after a gunman opened fire in multiple locations in Kalamazoo Saturday night.

Kalamazoo County Undersheriff Paul Matyas told Fox 17 Online that at least six people have been killed at a Cracker Barrel and a car dealership.

Four people were killed in the Cracker Barrel in Texas Township, while two others were killed at Seelye Kia dealership.

Another woman was shot several times at Meadows Townhomes and was taken to the hospital, according to Fox 17 Online. Her condition is unknown.

Police describe the gunman as a white male suspect believed to be in his late 50s. They believe he is driving in a blue Chevy HHR.

Update: A total of nine people have been shot, and shots have been fired at four locations. Six people are confirmed killed, two are in critical condition, and one is reported in serious condition.

Update: WWMT is speaking with Kalamazoo Police Chief Jeff Hadley, reporting that they have a “strong suspect in custody” after conducting a felony stop. Security cameras outside the care dealership apparently recorded the shooting. The suspect was apparently taken into custody without incident.
