Two Youths, Turning Their Lives Around, Get Ballistic Therapy In PA

Two youts…

…young criminals, were shot during the commission of an attempted home invasion in Jeannette, Pennsylvania last night, by the owner of the home they were trying to invade.

Police in Jeannette, Westmoreland County said two juveniles were shot while attempting to force their way into a home on Chestnut Street Tuesday night.

The incident happened shortly after 11 p.m.

Police said the juveniles ran from the scene after being shot. One collapsed nearby.

Both were taken to area hospitals.

Neighbors said that there had been recent surge in burglaries in the area prior to the shooting. I somewhat suspect that home invasions will be a bit more subdued in the Jeannette area with two less criminals operating in the area.

The investigation is still very preliminary, but it seems unlikely that the homeowner will be charged, as he or she has a right to defend the home under castle doctrine.
