I don’t know what it’s like to sleep in past 7am on a Saturday morning, but this woman couldn’t have imagined it would be like this!

A woman was staying with friends in their Eastlake, Ohio home on East 346th Street near Eastlawn Drive this past weekend when she was startled from her sleep by other unexpected houseguests: three burglars. However, I’m sure the trio of bumbling burglars didn’t expect her to be an armed woman, either.

Cleveland.com reports:

The woman was asleep in the house just before 8:30 a.m. when she heard banging on the front and back doors. She then heard male voices in the house, police said.

The woman, a guest of the homeowner, confronted the trio with a pistol. The men ran out the back door and left in a car, police said.

The woman got the car’s license plate number and reported it to police. Willoughby Hills officers spotted the car a short time later stopped it. Kozlevchar, Ludvik and the teen were arrested without incident.

Mark Kozlevchar, 19, is charged with burglary and Dylan Ludvik, 20, is charged with complicity to commit burglary in the incident.

The teen is facing charges in juvenile court, police said.

Thanks to the woman’s quick thinking, authorities apprehended the suspects early Saturday as they drove away from the house and she could continue her visit with friends!
