Deputies Learn the Hard Way That Cars Are Concealment, Not Cover

Orange County Sheriff’s Department deputies responding to a “suicidal man” call last month learned the hard way that only very small parts of cars do offer protection against gunfire, and that parts are not always going to be between you and an armed threat.

The suspect surrendered moments after opening fire on the deputies. No one was injured in the incident.
