Grassroots North Carolina (GRNC), a gun-rights group, is hosting a seriously amazing raffle. They’re raffling off an AR-15 (or as Liberals like to call them, “assault rifles”) and 1,000 rounds of ammo, along with a framed picture of Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
“Of course, we won’t tell you what to do with the photo, but when we ran a picture of Hillary on the front of our newsletter, we heard it was very popular at the range.”
GRNC is using this raffle to help promote pro-gun candidates who are seeking office.
“We all know that if Hillary Clinton is elected president on November 8, panic buying will ensure that by November 9, there won’t be a gun (or ammunition) available for love nor money,” the group’s website reads.
Of course, anti-gunners are fretting.
Dan Gross, president of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, said the raffle is “downright dangerous” before releasing the following statement:
It’s also a disturbing lesson in cause and effect. We’ve seen before how similarly violent rhetoric can turn deadly. This organization is knowingly playing with fire, and the consequences are very real. Furthermore, if you build a presidential campaign on repeatedly suggesting supporters assassinate your opponent, as Donald Trump has, you are ultimately responsible for the action they take.
Hey: Hillary Clinton is one of the Second Amendment’s biggest threats, and this raffle just put a ginormous spotlight on that fact…. and it’s working.
People are flocking to the group’s website to purchase tickets. So many people, in fact, that it caused the GRNC’s website to crash.
“Judging by the reaction, people like this idea a lot,” said Paul Valone, President of GRNC.
The raffle is taking place on election night. At least if Hillary becomes President, there’s still a good chance that a lot of you will own a brand new AR-15 before she takes office in January and begins her mission to completely ban them.
