The owner retrieved his own gun and fired back, hitting Kelly three times.

Kelly then ran outside, but ended up collapsing in the road. Detectives suspect there was a getaway driver who tired picking Kelly up, but took off before police arrived.

As of Tuesday, Kelly was still in the hospital. According to police Corporal Marcus Hines, Kelly will be arrested for armed robbery, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and resisting an officer once he is released.
