We all know the firearms industry is just a whole bunch of people looking to help others.

Especially when it comes to gun safety.

As part of the Bearing Arms Against Domestic Violence campaign, we wanted to share insight from women in the industry on their experience with becoming proficient shooters, handling gun safety in the home and how they are working to share their knowledge with others. It quickly grew into a seven-part series on their common sense approach to gun safety.

The seven women who participated in the series are a diverse mix of gun owners, from professional shooters to grassroots Second Amendment defenders:

Jana Waller: I live in Montana with my boyfriend Jim and pitmix Petey.  I host Skull Bound TV on The Sportsman Channel, currently filming for it’s sixth season.  When I’m not hunting, fishing or filming I paint and bead European skulls for a gallery in Jackson Hole as well as work on custom skull designs for customers.  I’m passionate about conservation and helping people understand that hunters are truly animal lovers. I’m a lifetime member of NWTF, SCI, MDF as well as an annual member of  The Sportsman Alliance and the NRA. I also am a freelance writer for hunting magazines and websites and when I’m not hunting, fishing, ‘skull-ing’ or writing you can find me devising some excuse to get into the mountains.  You can find me on Facebook Instagram and Twitter under @skullboundtv or at www.skullboundtv.com

Julie Golob: I am multi-time world and national shooting champion, US Army veteran, author, woman of the outdoors, wife and proud mom of two little girls. As a professional shooter and the Captain of Team Smith & Wesson I have the wonderful opportunity to share my passion for the shooting sports and safe, responsible gun ownership with others. Connect and join me in sharing shooting on Twitter @julieg1 and Instagram @juliegolob.

Stacy Washington: My hubby Rod and I live in America’s heartland, Missouri with our three kiddos: Maya (16), Miles (15) and Madison (13).  I’m the host of the syndicated radio program Stacy on the Right and editor of stacyontheright.com.  My passions are: our family, hitting the range with friends, and rehabbing our home.  Find me on Instagram and Twitter @stacyontheright and on Facebook: Stacy on the Right Show

Natalie Foster: I’m a Texifornian – my heart is in Texas but my family and I live in Los Angeles. I am the proud mama of a 1 year old who keeps me entertained and on my toes. When I’m not traveling in an effort to educate women about the 2A you can catch me near the beach, making unique gun jewelry or writing for various publications including my blog, GirlsGuidetoGuns.com. I host the series Love At First Shot for the NRA Women network and you can hit me up any time on Twitter @girlsguide2guns and @natalietweets. Facebook: Girl’s Guide to Guns and IG: girlsguidetoguns.

Shaneen Allen: I am a proud and loving single mother of two boys from Philadelphia, where I was born and raised. While I am currently employed by the city of Philadelphia, I am also a Phlebotomist, Certified medical assistant and certified nurse’s aide. After being jailed for concealed carrying in the state of New Jersey in 2014, I am actively involved as a Civil Rights, Gun Rights and Woman’s Rights Activist, working to empower women to be independent and self reliant. As an inadvertent public figure, I am a very vocal public speaker, advocating for firearms safety, training and public awareness of over-reaching and burdensome gun laws. I aspire to start a Non-profit organization in the near future to provide a resource center for women to understand firearms regulations, laws and their legal options within the boundaries of the law. Katie Pavlich: I am the Editor at Townhall.com, Fox News contributor and a New York Times Best Selling author of Assault and Flattery: The Truth About the Left and Their War on Women and live in DC with my fur baby Gadsden. You can follow me on Twitter @katiepavlich.

Nikki Goeser: I live in Nashville, Tennessee and work as the Director of Communications for the (Crime Prevention Research Center). I am the author of the book “Denied A Chance: How Gun Control helped a stalker murder my husband.”
I am an advocate for Victims of Violent Crime and helped draft a bill in TN (now law) making successful wrongful death suit judgments permanent as well as working as an advocate for the passage of the TN Restaurant Carry Bill, which allows handgun carry permit holders to carry in restaurants that serve alcohol as long as the permit holder is not drinking alcohol.
I am also the recipient of the prestigious NRA Sybil Ludington Women’s Freedom Award and speak nationally on the importance of self defense.
The series, “Seven Women Sound Off on Gun Safety” will be running all week starting tomorrow.
