D. W. Smith

I've been a military history geek since before it was cool (actually it's still not cool) and a firearm enthusiast since I got that blue plastic tommy gun at age 5. I served 4 years in the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne and 2nd Infantry Divisions. I've spent 18 years as a law enforcement officer, worked a variety of assignments, carried and trained with a variety of weapons, and I'm still learning. I'm a husband, a father, and the master of a goofy boxer dog. I like my steak rare and my ammo common. There are few things in life better than a good campfire.
