Biography
Although she works in the firearm’s industry now, Melanie Fedraw also has a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Human Services. She spent several years working as a case manager in the criminal justice system, focusing on rehabilitating convicted felons whose crimes were driven by addiction and/or a mental health disorder. Her love of the tactical industry led her to work at Rifle Dynamics out of Las Vegas, NV where she assists with business operations, managing training schedules, updating social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest), and helping with function testing the rifles. Melanie became interested in firearms several years ago as a means to self-defense, but quickly evolved into tactics training and multiple weapon platforms from knives to handguns to belt-feds. She hopes to couple her mental health experience with the tactical industry to educate and encourage others who may be new to the industry.
