The United States Army celebrated it’s 238th birthday yesterday with a ceremony at the Pentagon.  Secretary of the Army John McHugh and Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel were present at the event as well as wounded warriors and their military families.

“If you want to know how we became this great nation, you look into the eyes of wounded warriors,” McHugh said. “You see the strength that they bring and it’s really a reflection of the celebration that we have here today.”
