This is not good news for fans of the Caracal: all C-model (compact) Caracals have an inherent safety problem and cannot be fixed.

Caracal C owners will be fully refunded for the purchase price of their pistols, or may receive a voucher for other Caracal pistols, such as the full-size “F” model or the SC sub-compact, which are unaffected by the recall.
