There are multiple victims in a shooting at the Navy Yard in Washington, DC, in what is still a very fluid situation. Casualty figures continue to increase, and a police search is under way to clear the area, fearing the possibility of other suspects.

Into this trauma and uncertainty, we get this classy comment from Ladd Everitt, Communications Director  of the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, one of the lesser gun control groups.

Incidents like the #NavyYardShooting will continue to occur with regularity until legislators stop allowing the #NRA to write gun policy.
