Via Campus Reform comes the sickening story of a college professor who thinks that the children of NRA members deserve to be murdered because of the Navy Yark Shooting.

A journalism professor at the University of Kansas (KU) turned to Twitter on Monday to suggest he would like to see the murder of children of National Rifle Association (NRA) members at the hands of a deranged gunman.
“#NavyYardShooting The blood is on the hands of the #NRA,”tweeted David Guth, who is an associate professor of Journalism at the university’s William Allen White School of Journalism.
Speaking with Campus Reform on Wednesday, Guth confirmed it was he who sent the controversial tweet.
“Hell no, hell no, I do not regret that Tweet,” he said. “I don’t take it back one bit.”
As a father and gun owner, I simply feel pity for the journalism students at the University of Kansas who must be exposed to someone as toxic as David Guth.
They’re forced to deal with an illogical professor who seems primarily driven by irrationality and hate, who feels perversely proud of himself for calling for the deaths of tens of millions of innocent children.
When asked for comment by Bearing Arms, the Chancellor’s office at the University of Kansas said of Guth’s comments:
“Professor Guth’s tweet obviously does not represent the university’s position. Faculty have their own social media accounts and use those to express personal opinions, but those opinions do not represent the university. The shooting at the Navy Yard is a terrible tragedy and our hearts go out to the victims and their families.”
We’re hoping to hear back from KU this afternoon regarding any disciplinary action the school may or many not take against Guth for his comments.
While Guth is obviously within his free speech rights, Jayhawk supporters and alumi—many of whom are also NRA members and parents—could choose to make this very expensive and for the university.
Stay tuned.
