Three Murderers Caught on Video Surveillance Remain At-Large
In early January, a man in Placentia, California was murdered by three armed men. Before committing the murder, the three men were caught on surveillance footage outside the home.
Placentia police released the footage on Tuesday night in hopes of identifying the men.
“They had no hesitation, they went directly into the front yard,” Sgt. Bryce Angel told KTLA. “They encountered the victim on the front porch area they called him out into the front yard and that’s where the shooting took place.”
Police believe 35-year-old Robert Rios was targeted but there was no connection to gang activity.
“They clearly know what they’re doing, and again, they have no hesitation, so we’re considering them armed and dangerous,” Angel added.
One of Rios’ family members recalls that night in an interview with ABC7:
A man who didn’t want to show his face is a family member of the victim, 35-year-old Robert Rios.
“I heard two shootings. I ran out here and the fence was on the floor already. I looked up there and he was on the floor already dead,” he said.
Here is the video footage:
