Over the weekend, two men in Mobile, Alabama walked up to numerous cars in a cul-de-sac and stole guns out of unlocked cars. The two men armed themselves with the initial two firearms they found before going to numerous other cars and stealing two additional guns.

At approximately 3 a.m. cameras on one of the streets caught video footage of the men snooping through cars, looking for firearms.

The men went through a number of additional cars but did not find any other guns or possessions worth taking.

According to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, the men have hit numerous neighborhoods for the same offense.

“I’m glad that I didn’t walk outside unprepared…or put my family in a bad situation not knowing,” said the man whose camera caught the video surveillance. “They weren’t nervous, they seemed like they were very familiar with the area, and they had no problem walking up into somebody’s garage, front door, and…just no fear.”

The two men returned the next night and spray painted an obscene image on one of the homeowner’s fences.

The Mobile County Sheriff’s are asking residents to keep an eye out for a white Suburban or Yukon XL that can be seen in the video. They are also encouraging residents to lock their cars, even if it is in the person’s driveway.
