Ruger 10/22 vs. Roast at 300 Yards

Sometimes the meat in the freeze goes bad… bad enough you have to shoot it.

When zeroed at 100, this Ruger 10/22 had roughly 92″ drop at 300 yards, and with a 10 mph crosswind, the shooter also had 55″ of drift to contend against.

All in all, it is very nice shooting, and impressive penetration for a bullet carrying less than 70 ft/lbs of energy into 8 layers of denim and 4″ of meat.

He later went on to try CCI Mini-Mags at 25 and 300 yards in ballistics gel. Interesting stuff.
