The guys from Moss Pawn claim that this is just an April Fool’s post… but I’m not so sure.

You see, the ritual of a father (and sometimes the father, the son, and the son’s best friend) cleaning guns when a new boyfriend shows up on a first date does in fact occur: I personally know two men who have gone through variations through the experience.

I suspect that this bit of fatherly gamesmanship will exist in some form or fashion as long as fathers have daughters, and that only the tool being cleaned will change.
