What does it take to become a “Sentinel?”

The Sentinels are the platoon of the “Old Guard” 3rd Infantry Regiment, assigned to stand watch over the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery. The Soldiers maintain a constant presents through all weather and calamity.

The Changing of the Guard ceremony is stirring ritual that occurs every 30 minutes during the height of the spring and summer tourist season and every hour the rest of the year.
