Homemade Gunpowder from What?

Today I stumbled across the YouTube Channel of Cody Reeder, called Cody’s Lab. Reeder is something of a mad scientist, and has made everything from thermite to nitroglycerin.

Perhaps Reeder’s most popular videos are the two he made on how to make “old school”  black powder from abundant, naturally occurring resources,  including charcoal from local hardwood, sulfur from local rocks, and saltpeter (potassium nitrate) brewed up from, um, his own urine.

Yep. That’s right, folks. You can fire your own pee-powered cannonball.

The would-be totalitarians on the left would love nothing more than to render you powerless before the might of the state.

That’s going to prove a little difficult in a world where people can print their own guns, mold their own bullets, and even manufacture their own primers and powder.
