The New York Daily News (whom I refuse to drive traffic towards with a link) has tabloided all over itself again.

Daily News “reporters” Cameron Joseph and Larry McShane apparently soiled themselves several times while creating this lede.

The NRA — and their gun-loving Republican cohorts — are refusing once more to stop terrorists intent on getting armed in the U.S.A.

A legal loophole allows suspected terrorists on the government’s no-fly list to legally buy guns, but a bill to fix that will likely wither on the vine. The federal Denying Firearms and Explosives to Dangerous Terrorists Act, even in the wake of last week’s terrorist killing of 129 people in Paris, remains a long shot due to its rabid pro-gun opponents.

“Anything which they feel restricts the use or the ability to retain a gun they’re opposed to,” bill co-sponsor Rep. Pete King (R-L.I.) told the Daily News.

“It’s sort of a knee-jerk reaction,” he said Tuesday. “The National Rifle Association is strongly opposed to it and the fact is we have only a handful of Republican co-sponsors.”

Anyone can end up on a terror watch list, folks. Trust me, I know.

Without due process or logic, anyone can wind up a watch list for any reason, or no reason at all. Under an administration which has gleefully attacked citizens with the FBI and IRS for merely belonging to the wrong political party, that should terrify you.

Crazed anti-gun lefties like the Daily News staff want all five million members of the NRA to be treated as terrorists, and have blatantly called for that as recently as a month ago (and again, I’m not linking their trash).

The Daily News wants to arbitrarily declare five million law-abiding American citizens terrorists and then deny them their constitutional rights.

Their ideas weren’t any better when they were originally voiced in German in the 1930s.
