The suspects really, really wanted this guy dead.
Guthrie police are investigating Wednesday after they found a male victim who had been shot 36 times.
Officers said they were investigating reports of a shooting in the 300 block of South Oak Street just after midnight on Wednesday when they found the man on the front porch of a home. He had multiple gunshot wounds to his face and torso and was taken to an area hospital where he later died, according to police. His identity is not being released at this time.
Three people were seen running from the scene and getting into a sedan of an unknown make and model and fleeing the area, authorities said. The suspects have not been located, according to investigators.
I’m more than a little surprised that he made it to the hospital alive.
At least two weapons were used in the murder, as authority recovered two different caliber cartridge casings. Authorities are still running down leads, and do not have suspects in custody.
