By any measure, J.R. Salzman is a stud.
The Wisconsin native is a world class athlete who won 14 medals in ESPN’s Great Outdoor Games, and who has won nine world titles in log-rolling at the Lumberjack World Championships, including three after being severely injured as an infantryman on a convoy patrol in Iraq.
Salzman’s also a talented writer, and has just taken to the pages of the NRA’s American Warrior magazine to rip the effete liberals of Esquire to shreds, along with their token gun-grabbing soldier, U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Robert Bateman.
Salzman notes that Esquire used to be a magazine for men.
Now it’s a magazine for, well…
…yeah.
Salzman notes that there was a time not all that long ago when Esquire actually defended the essential nature of the Second Amendment.
My, how times and the magazine have changed.
