Gun-Grabbing California Senator Leland Yee Indicted For Corruption.

Why does it always seem that the biggest supporters of gun control are criminals?

State Senator Leland Yee has been indicted for public corruption as part of a major FBI operation this morning in the Bay Area, according to ABC7 news.

A San Francisco police spokesman said the FBI is serving multiple arrest and search warrants this morning, but said he had no knowledge of a Yee arrest.

ABC7 reported one of the searches is taking place at the San Francisco Chinatown office of the Gee King Tong Free Masons and is linked to the arrest this morning of Raymond “Shrimp Boy” Chow.

The FBI was seen at Yee’s Sacramento office, where they reportedly arrived at 7 a.m.

Targets of the raid are expected to appear in federal court in San Francisco this afternoon.

Like so many in the citizen control cult, Yee has seldom found a law restricting the rights of citizens that he didn’t support. He’s attacked hunting, supported a law to ban the sale of “M” rated video games that was struck down by the California Supreme Court on First Amendment grounds, and has been the author of multiple gun control bills.

Yee had made repeated attempts to outlaw popular semi-automatic rifles, and his most recent effort, SB 374, was vetoed by Governor Jerry Brown last year. Yee had vowed to reintroduce the legislation again in 2014, but will likely be more concerned about finding a good defense lawyer instead.

The raid also likely signals the end of his run for Secretary of State in California but did suggest that he might now be eligible for honorary membership in another group.

Yee seems like he’d be right at home among the felons of Mayors Against Illegal Guns.
