Oh, Shannon Watts, is it possible for you to tell the truth about anything?
The Moms Demand Action From Illegal Mayors in Everytown (MDAFIMIE) cult is claiming that they raised quite the crowd in Indianapolis:
This weekend in Indianapolis, just blocks away from the site of the annual NRA convention, over 300 moms, dads, grandparents, children and gun violence survivors gathered for the “Mother of all Stroller Jams.” People traveled from across the country to show their support for #gunsense and to demonstrate their commitment to reducing gun violence in America. In addition to our stroller jam, we held grassroots trainings and sponsored an Indiana quilting bee, where we unveiled our first completed quilt honoring victims of gun violence. #MomsDemand
It’s quite the attendance claim… and demonstrably false. You see, I was there.
Yes, I’m standing on the edge of the crowd, more than one mile from the NRA convention, where I snapped several pictures of my own, while moving around attempting to get an estimate of numbers, including the following panoramic shot.
Everytown didn’t bring 300+ people.
Not including the people on stage (or myself), I counted precisely 156 live bodies, including their armed bodyguards and the media who attended. Feel free to download the image and do your own analysis. Your exact count might differ, but I doubt you’ll find the additional 150 warm bodies that Watts is claiming attended her intimate little gathering.
Mr. Bloomberg, I don’t know how many hundreds of thousands of dollars you are paying Mrs. Watts, but it is clear that you aren’t getting your money’s worth.
