Did a Gun Control Cultist INTENTIONALLY Leave A Pistol In A Target Store for Children to Find?

One unyielding characteristic in the citizen control movement is a “the ends justify the means” mindset. They will say or do nearly anything to get their way, and don’t let small things like morality, decency, or honestly ruin their plans.

From the early days of Handgun Control Inc. (which is now the Brady Campaign) up to today’s Bloomberg-paid duplicitous demanding moms, the citizen control movement has always relied upon hyperbolehypocrisy, smears, rigged research, and outright lies to advance their cause.

We’re hoping, however, that even they have their limits.

A man in South Carolina was recently captured (only on camera so far)  leaving  a loaded firearm in the toy section of a Target retail store.

It is illogical to think that a man would enter a brightly lit retail store known for having both interior and exterior security cameras simply to ditch a weapon. There are countless swamps, brackish creeks, and bodies of salt water in the area that would be far easier to access without being observed, all of which would conceal the handgun, and some of which would begin destroying the gun itself and any evidence on it via abrasion, corrosion, and other natural processes.

No, the only reason for an evil monster to bring a loaded firearm and dump it in the toy section of a large retail store is the hope of causing injury or death to children.

The question, is, of course, “why he would commit such a depraved act?”

Some immediately found it interesting that the incident occurred as the chain came under attack from the most virulent of today’s gun control groups, Moms Demand Action/Everytown for Gun Safety:

After a string of victories at fast food chains in recent weeks, gun control activists are renewing pressure on discount giant Target +0.54% to ban firearms in its stores.

Michael Bloomberg-backed Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America has launched a campaign asking Target to ban the open carrying of guns in its stores just as news emerges out of South Carolina adding urgency to their mission.

A loss prevention officer found a real, loaded gun in the toy aisle of a Myrtle Beach branch of Target last Friday night. Says the local NBC affiliate:

The gun was in plain view on top of a superhero Playskool toy box when the worker found it; he thought it was a toy. He realized it was real after seeing it was loaded with live ammo.

The fact that it was found in an aisle geared toward children makes some shoppers feel this was no accident.

“I don’t think someone would accidentally drop off a gun. I think he purposely left it there for a child to pick up and think, ‘Oh it’s a toy gun,’ and accidentally point it at somebody and it goes off,” says Kennedy McClain.

Fletcher Armstrong III, a Concealed Weapons Permit instructor with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, explains it is never to early to start talking gun safety with children.

He narrows it down into four easy-to-understand steps: “If a child comes across a gun they should follow four steps: Stop. Don’t touch. Leave the area, and tell an adult.”

The police report mentions there was a suspicious male walking up and down each toy aisle, including the aisle the gun was found.

Target will be releasing that surveillance video to police.

While they are mercenary, cut-throat, paranoid and have gaping personality flaws, we don’t want to believe that gun control cultists are so morally deprived that they would intentionally place children in danger by putting a loaded weapon where they would expect a child to find it.

We hope that someone in will recognize the individual in this photo suspected of leaving the weapon in the store on May 30, 2014 at 5:45 PM. Anyone with relevant information is asked to contact Detective H. Jones of the Myrtle Beach Police Department at 843-918-1911.

Once he is captured, perhaps he will explain why he was attempting to endanger children.

Update: The handgun was purchased by a woman whom the authorities are attempting to locate for questioning.

Captain David Knipes with the Myrtle Beach Police Department says at this time the man is only wanted for questioning and there have been no charges filed in the incident.

Knipes says the weapon has not been reported stolen; however the last known person the gun was registered to is a woman. He would not release the identity of the woman.

Knipes says they are also looking to question the owner of the gun, but as of Thursday police have not been able to locate her.
