The fired former journalist known on camera as “Bryce Williams” who murdered two of his former collegues on air with a Glock 19 9mm pistol this morning
was a black, gay, racist fan of serial killers.

By all means, take a few minutes to to unpack that sentence as there is a lot that was going on in this guy’s head, and none of it was good.

Williams, real name Vester Lee Flanagan II, claimed in a 23-page manifesto faxed to ABC News that he put down the deposit on the Glock used in the murder on June 19, two days after D_____ R___* murdered nine innocent people at Emanuel AME Zion Church in Charleston, SC.

He ranted:

“Why did I do it? I put down a deposit for a gun on 6/19/15. The Church shooting in Charleston happened on 6/17/15…”

“What sent me over the top was the church shooting. And my hollow point bullets have the victims’ initials on them.”

It is unclear whose initials he is referring to. He continues, “As for D_____ R___? You (deleted)! You want a race war (deleted)? BRING IT THEN YOU WHITE …(deleted)!!!” He said Jehovah spoke to him, telling him to act.

Later in the manifesto, the writer quotes the Virginia Tech mass killer, S____ H__ C__, calls him “his boy,” and expresses admiration for the Columbine High School killers. “Also, I was influenced by S____–H__ C__. That’s my boy right there. He got NEARLY double the amount that E__ H_____ and D_____ K______ got…just sayin.'”

You’ll note that he stated he “put his money down” on the handgun, strongly implying that he obtained the Glock pistol via a gun store with some sort of layaway  or payment plan system in place. This would mean that the passed the federal NICS background check, and Virginia’s additional screening that was implemented after Virginia Tech.

Williams/Flanagan has been described as being very difficult to work with by his peers at several news stations where he worked, and ranted on Twitter after the murders that one of his victims was “racist” and that the other filed a human resources complaint after working with him just once.

He seemed to have a pattern of blaming everyone else for his problems, as well.

Williams/Flanagan attempted to commit suicide earlier today while fleeing police, and botched that as he did everything else in his life.

He finally succumbed to his self-inflicted wounds hours later.

Alison Parker, 24, and Adam Ward, 27, were murdered by Williams/Flanagan in the early morning attack, and Vicki Gardener, who was being interviewed by Park when the attack started, was wounded by survived, and is now in stable condition.
