There is the distinct possibility that this is a false alert, as false reports often happen the day after a highly-publicized event like the shooting of three people by a failed journalist in Virginia yesterday.
Update: @maroonalert may have misfired in their earlier claims of an active shooter.

The University has issued an “all clear.” The incident appears to be a false alarm, with no shots fired.
