The Drudge Report links to a World Net Daily article claiming that fearful Europeans are making a run on their local gun stores in response to the flood of young, mostly male Muslim “refugees” that are flooding into Europe in what many see as nothing more or less than an invasion.

A Czech TV report confirms that long guns – shotguns and rifles – have been flying off the shelves in Austria, and Austrians who haven’t already purchased a gun may not have a chance to get one for some time. They’re all sold out.

And those arming themselves are primarily women.

“If anyone wants to buy a long gun in Austria right now, too bad for them,” the Czech newscaster says. “All of them are currently sold out.”

He cites the Austrian news outlet Trioler Tageszeitung as the source of his report.

“We cannot complain about lack of demand,” Stephen Mayer, a gun merchant, told Trioler Tageszeitung.

He claims the stock has been sold out for the last three weeks and that demand is being fueled by fears generated by social changes.

“People want to protect themselves,” Mayer said. “Nonetheless, the most common purchasers of arms are primarily Austrian women.”

They are also buying pepper sprays, which Mayer said are in big demand among those who can’t get a gun.

Alan Gottlieb, executive vice president of the Second Amendment Foundation, said he recently returned from a gun rights event in Europe, where he sensed a change in attitude toward firearms.

“I just returned from a gun rights meeting in Belgium, and I can attest that all over Europe people now want the means to defend themselves,” Gottlieb told WND. “Self-defense is no longer a dirty word. In countries like Austria, where it is still legal to own a firearm, gun sales are at record levels. I can tell you first-hand that people in Europe now wish they had a Second Amendment.”

Refugees from North Africa and the Middle East are flooding Europe, with more than 700,000 coming across the Mediterranean Sea through the Balkan states in 2015 thus far.

Of particular concern is that most of the refugees are young, aggressive male Muslims of military age.

Hungary has closed their borders citing security concerns, and European intelligence agencies admit that they have no idea how many of those flowing into Europe are Islamic extremists intent on setting up terror cells in Europe. Both ISIS and al Queda have made social media posts boasting of using the refugee crisis to invade Europe.

The refugees themselves seem to have no intentions of assimilating into European society, and seem to only want to abuse the European social welfare system.

It doesn’t take a fortune teller to see where this is headed.

The citizen-producers of Europe are going to quickly tire of the flood of refugees and the high cost, vile cultural mores, and crime that they are bringing with them. A wave of nationalism is sure to follow, along with sometimes violent efforts to force the refugees back out of Europe. The mostly Islamic refugees, who apparently feel a sense of entitlement, will push back.

Gun acquisition, both legal and illegal, is skyrocketing. As gun possession of all kinds is illegal, or so impractical as to be nearly impossible, you’re going to see Europeans going “all in,” smuggling in fully automatic weapons, as we’re already seeing in England.

It’s going to go kinetic, and it isn’t going to be pretty.
