President Donald Trump is expected to be briefed on various gun control proposals today, and could soon announce what, if any, items on the gun control wish list he’s willing to support. Gun control groups are mounting a massive campaign to sway Trump and Senate Republicans on “universal background checks”, as well as a federal “red flag” bill that would give grant money to states that establish “red flag laws” allowing for the temporary removal of firearms from those a court deems to be a danger to themselves or others, often without due process protections or mental health treatment.

Plus, Cam takes a look at a new poll showing nearly one -third of Democrats support declaring the NRA a terrorist organization, and nearly one-fourth of Democrats are in favor of making it illegal to join a pro-2A group.
