Plenty Of 2A Cases For SCOTUS If NYC Case Gets Mooted

On today’s Bearing Arms Cam & Co., I’m joined by Chuck Michel, president of the California Rifle & Pistol Association and Second Amendment attorney to discuss the NYC gun case heard by SCOTUS last week, as well as what happens if the Supreme Court decides that case is now moot, thanks to the city’s last minute changes to the law in a blatant attempt to avoid judicial scrutiny.

The Supreme Court didn’t list any new Second Amendment cases in its Monday orders from last Friday’s conference, but if they do decide to hear another case, they have no shortage of cases to choose from, including a right to carry challenge out of New Jersey called Rogers v. Grewal that might be the top candidate, according to Michel.

We talk about that case and more, so be sure to check out the full interview in the link above.

Also on today’s program we have the story of an armed dad who kept a man suspected of sexually assaulting his daughter until police could take him into custody, an accused cop killer who avoided prosecution on several felony gun charges in the months before he allegedly gunned down Alabama police officer Billy Clardy III, and a stranger who saved the lives of three people in Illinois from a house fire early Monday morning.
