Virginia Dems Go All In On Gun Control

So much for any hope of moderation or restraint on the part of Virginia Democrats when it comes to their push for gun control. Now that we’ve seen the sweeping bans on semi-automatic firearms, magazines, and suppressors, along with bills to enact “universal background checks,” ban large private ranges, strip parents of their ability to decide when their children are old enough to responsibly handle firearms, and a host of other restrictions and infringements on the right to keep and bear arms, there’s no doubt that anti-gun lawmakers intend on completely reshaping Virginia’s gun laws to look much more like California’s (despite California’s much higher violent crime rate).

I’m very pleased to have the Washington Free Beacon‘s Stephen Gutowski joining me on today’s Bearing Arms’ Cam & Co. to talk about the legislative session now underway in Richmond and what to expect over the next few days. It looks like the gun bills are going to be moving very quickly, and the expectation is that many of them will be voted out of committee as early as Monday, January 13th.

Be sure to check out the entire conversation in the interview above, and stick around for today’s Recidivist Report, an armed citizen story out of Florida, and a good deed of the day from Newburg, Oregon.
