RNC: McCloskeys Warn Of Chaos In Suburbs If Biden Is Elected

Mark and Patricia McCloskey, the St. Louis homeowners who are facing felony charges for displaying their firearms outside their home as hundreds of protesters marched through their private neighborhood in June, warned in a speech on the first night of the RNC that the chaos and destruction that we’ve seen in places like Portland and Chicago is coming to a neighborhood near you if the Biden/Harris campaign wins in November.

“What you saw happen to us could just as easily happen to any of you who are watching from quiet neighborhoods around our country,” Patricia McCloskey said during her opening remarks.

Mark McCloskey accused the Democrats of “no longer” seeing the “government’s job as protecting honest citizens from criminals but rather protecting criminals from honest citizens.”

Of course, you might not have to wait until November to see chaos in the suburbs. Even as the McCloskeys were delivering their address to the nation, the destruction in Kenosha, Wisconsin continued on Monday evening, with local businesses and the community corrections building torched by rioters set off by the officer-involved shooting of 29-year old Jacob Blake. Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers called out the National Guard on Monday afternoon, but the presence of hundreds of Guard members on the streets of Kenosha wasn’t enough to prevent a second night of rioting, arson, and looting in the city of 100,000 about 40 miles of Milwaukee.

While the message of the McCloskeys undoubtably resonated with many Americans who’ve watched as largely peaceful protests and marches in support of policing and criminal justice reform have devolved into nightly standoffs between wannabe revolutionaries and law enforcement in several cities, the speech by Parkland dad Andrew Pollack that may have had an even bigger impact on the suburban voters targeted by the Trump campaign.

Pollack emotionally described the murder of his daughter in the hallway of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, and warned that the policies of Democrats allowed the rampage to happen as authorities ignored all kinds of warning signs by the killer.

“The gunman had threatened to kill his classmates before; he had threatened to rape them; he had threatened to shoot up the school,” Pollack said. “Every red flag you can imagine. But the school didn’t just miss these red flags — they knowingly ignored them.

“Far-left Democrats in our school district made this shooting possible because they implemented something they called ‘restorative justice,’” he continued.

“I was just fine with the old approach to discipline and safety — it was called discipline and safety. But the Obama-Biden administration took Parkland’s bad policies and forced them into schools across America,” he said.

The message from both the McCloskeys and Andrew Pollack was clear; there’ll be more chaos in the streets and in our schools, with innocent people paying suffering the consequences of the policies and ideology of the Biden/Harris campaign and Democrats in Congress.

The Left sent their own message to the country from Charlotte, host city of the RNC, on Monday evening. At least four people were arrested and an American flag set on fire as hundreds took to the streets to protest the Republican convention and the Trump administration.

Instead of “Sleepy Joe,” maybe Trump should start referring to the Democratic presidential candidate as “Burn It Down” Biden, since that seems to be the “change” that Democrats are offering this fall. If the Left was smarter, they would have toned down their looting and rioting this week. Instead, they’re delivering Donald Trump an issue on a silver platter: Democrats won’t keep you safe, and the country will be a more dangerous place with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the White House.
