BEHOLD: The Complete Failure Of Gun Control

Every time there’s a shooting in the news, Democrats like Dick Durbin of Illinois love to jump in and promote gun control as the solution.

But over the weekend we got to see just how well gun control works, in the one place in America with the nation’s tightest gun control laws. It was a complete failure.

Chicago, Illnois (dubbed Chiraq by Spike Lee) has some of the strictest gun control laws in America. They have an updated “assault weapons” ban, and they even tried passing a complete ban on handguns. They’ve done everything they can to attack the Second Amendment rights of city residents.

And yet 64 people were shot over the Independence Day weekend, including three children. Four people shot, were killed. Chicago police chief Eddie Johnson says “progress” is being made, yet 64 is the exact same number of people shot over Memorial Day weekend, with six killed.
