It shouldn’t be any surprise that Kim Kardashian-West is using her social media to discuss a bevy of important issues to morally misguided millennials and bored housewives across the nation. Aside from all the important issues she tackles like waist-training and how to take the best selfie, now she’s wading into the gun control pool with none other than Moms Demand in the lifeguard station.

After the police-involved shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile Kardashian-West used Instagram to speak out:

But on Friday, Mrs. West was joined by Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, Kris and Kendall Jenner for a private lunch organized by Moms Demand Action and Everytown where they were joined by people who lost relatives to gun violence. Of course the luncheon was also fodder for their reality TV show and will be featured in a future episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians so stay tuned for that.
Kim was also on hand in Los Angeles for the BlogHer conference Saturday where she told the crowd how her husband and kids are a big reason why she feels so passionately now about ‘strengthening gun laws’.
“I am just terrified of everything. I am so paranoid, so afraid,” she told the audience, according to E! News. “It’s such high anxiety.”
“There’s something when you have two kids, you just, I don’t know. So yes, I’ve definitely become more aware,” she continued. “I’ve definitely spoken out more as far as definitely gun control. I just want to be super protective of my kids so I have felt that need.”
But according to TMZ, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West themselves are bulletproof, beefing up their personal security with armored vehicles and armed guards after a run-in with paparazzi in Paris, France.
Sources say the couple were “freaked out” after Kim was almost tackled to the ground by a crazed fan and especially upset after the Paris paparazzi followed them around the City of Lights in hordes. So what else could they do? They hired at least two additional teams of armed bodyguards to surround them when they’re in public during Fashion Week in Paris.
So once again – a fauxlebrity has spoken out on how ‘we the little people’ should be limited by laws while surrounding themselves with armed guards and armored vehicles.
If only there was a Kimoji to call Kardashian-West, and the rest of the Hollywood and celebutante, out on their hypocrisy on guns.
