We’ve all been there. You’re jamming along, not really paying attention to speed, lanes, stop signs, whatever, and suddenly it’s all blue lights and sirens!

I recently spoke with my local sheriff who told me that a mom driving a minivan displaying NRA and Daniel Defense stickers in the back window wouldn’t concern him very much, but that it’s crucial for everyone to keep their hands visible to law enforcement (at 10 and 2 on the steering wheel) until directed otherwise. Personally, I keep my drivers license and concealed carry permit on my visor when I’m carrying on my person to ensure they’re ready to hand law enforcement should they approach my vehicle for any reason.
Mike the Cop teamed up with Josh from BadgeCams, Funker530, Full30, and Warfighter Tobacco to put together this brief (and hilarious) video what to do, and what not to do, if you are pulled over legally carrying a concealed weapon.
What do you think? Are there points he made that you weren’t aware of?
Would you add any pointers for other concealed carry permit holders?
What’s your plan for how to react to a potential traffic stop?
